Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Casheo (“Casheo”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our websites, applications, offers, surveys, games, cashback, rewards, referral and related services (the “Services”).

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, password, country, date of birth, profile details and preferences.
  • Linked-account information: identifiers and profile details received when you connect or sign in with services such as Google or Discord.
  • Rewards and payment information: points, balance, redemption history, payment or wallet destination, and information needed to deliver rewards.
  • Identity and safety information: identity, age, liveness or fraud-verification results and supporting information when verification is required.
  • Communications: support requests, survey responses, feedback, reports and other content you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and network data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language, approximate location, identifiers and diagnostic data.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, offers opened, searches, referral interactions, session activity and timestamps.
  • Transaction and attribution data: click IDs, partner identifiers, purchase or activity status, order value, reward amount and partner validation or rejection reasons.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: session, security, preference, measurement and attribution technologies. You can control many cookies through your browser, but blocking them may prevent sign-in or reward tracking.

Information from others

We receive information from offer walls, survey providers, games, retailers, affiliate networks, identity and fraud-prevention providers, reward and payment providers, connected accounts, referral partners and service providers. This may include confirmation that an activity was completed, transaction details, risk signals, cancellations and refunds.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create and secure accounts, authenticate users and provide the Services;
  • track qualifying activities, calculate balances, investigate missing credit and fulfil redemptions;
  • personalise offers, surveys, recommendations, content and the user experience;
  • verify eligibility and identity, prevent duplicate accounts, detect fraud and enforce our Terms;
  • provide support and send service, security, reward and account communications;
  • measure performance, troubleshoot errors, conduct analytics and improve or develop Services;
  • comply with law, tax, accounting, regulatory and lawful-request obligations; and
  • send marketing where permitted, subject to your right to opt out.

3. Legal bases

Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we process information as necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as operating, securing, measuring and improving the Services. We rely on consent where the law requires it, including for certain marketing or non-essential technologies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

4. How we share information

We may share personal information with:

  • Offer and commerce partners to attribute, validate and reward activities, resolve claims and prevent fraud;
  • Payment and reward providers to process and deliver redemptions;
  • Identity, security and fraud providers to assess eligibility, identity, liveness, device and account risk;
  • Technology providers that host data, send communications, provide customer support, analytics, error monitoring and other operational services;
  • Professional advisers and authorities where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or establish and defend legal claims; and
  • Transaction parties in connection with a merger, financing, reorganisation, sale of assets or similar corporate event.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you. We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly; where applicable, you may exercise the rights described below.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, protect the Services, attribute completed activities, understand usage and measure campaigns. We may use analytics and error-monitoring services, including Google Analytics and Sentry. Partner tracking is often necessary to credit a reward. Browser or device controls can limit these technologies, but doing so may affect functionality.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate operational, security, dispute-resolution, tax, accounting and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by the type of data and applicable requirements. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it, unless law permits or requires continued retention. Fraud-prevention records may be retained after account closure to protect the Services and prevent repeat abuse.

7. International transfers

Casheo and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or approved standard contractual clauses.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of marketing or certain sale, sharing or targeted advertising; and appeal a declined request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

To submit a request, email support@casheo.co. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. You can unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message; essential service messages will still be sent.

10. Children

The Services are intended for people aged 13 and older. If you are under the age at which you can consent to the processing of personal information in your country, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate. Some offers, surveys, rewards or payment methods may be restricted to older users.

11. Third-party services

The Services link to or integrate with independent third parties. Their privacy policies, not this one, govern information they collect directly from you. Review their terms before using their services.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date. Where required, we will give additional notice of material changes.
